Long Bio

Beneath You brings melodic pop-punk mixed with touches of emo, ska, and alt-rock to the Bay Area's indie scene. The band is powered by brothers Gavin and Jason Hammon of the ska-punk legends Dance Hall Crashers on drums and guitar, longtime punk mainstay Serge Verkhovsky (Limp, Year of the Fist) on bass, and newcomer Mary Diridon up front, whose dynamic voice drives the band's sound into new territory.

Created by Diridon and Verkhovsky in 2021, Beneath You released their debut EP Unhinged and a couple of follow-up singles before recruiting the Hammon Brothers in 2023 to shake up their sound. The result is an eclectic blend of genres using catchy riffs, tight rhythms, and thoughtful lyrics to weave nostalgia with something undeniably fresh. Whether they're leaning into driving punk energy, ska-tinged rhythms, or moody emo drama, Beneath You keeps listeners guessing without losing the hooks that stick for days.
